Set on Pinellas County's Gulf barrier islands, Indian Rocks Beach blends relaxed beach-town energy with everyday convenience along Gulf Boulevard. Beach Access

Twenty-seven marked public access points span the city's roughly two miles of Gulf shoreline, so nearly every east-west avenue ends at the sand. Street parking and small public lots serve the access points; walk-to-beach distance is a primary pricing variable for cottages and condos alike.

Parks & Recreation

Kolb Park, the city's largest green space, offers pickleball and tennis courts, ball fields, a skatepark, and playgrounds. The nine-acre Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve, off Gulf Boulevard between 9th and 10th Avenues, runs elevated boardwalks through mangrove wetlands — a rare protected tract on a developed barrier island.
