Everyone Is Excited For These Development Districts
Water Street:
Water Street is a new mixed-use development district in Downtown Tampa. Retail, hotels, condominiums, and apartments are all designed around wellness. Water Street is the first neighborhood in the world to achieve WELL precertification. A WELL community promotes health and well-being across all aspects of community life. Walkability, sustainability, technology, and connectivity are all cornerstones of this 21st-century urban district.
Why we are excited:
Water Street bridges the gap between the west side and east side of Downtown Tampa. The design and development bring a sophisticated, contemporary urban environment that the city had previously lacked. In addition, it brings with it fine dining, boutique shopping, and world-class office modern office space. Water Street looks to be a modern gem of Tampa for the years to come.
Midtown:
Midtown is a planned community district featuring apartment residences, class-A office spaces, shopping, dining, entertainment, hospitality, and health, and wellness opportunities.
Why we are excited:
Midtown is basically a mini-downtown and helps bridge the gap for residents who live west and north of Downtown Tampa. While we wish they would develop some condominiums, it offers an urban live, work, and play lifestyle that many strive for in this fast-paced, modern world.
Westshore Marina District:
Westshore Marina District is a new master-planned community overlooking one of the largest yacht basins on Tampa Bay. It features waterfront residences, parks, a marina, and open bay views. Similar lifestyle to Harbour Island, this new waterfront district presents an ideal location for a waterfront location, shopping, dining, and boating.
Why we are excited:
Westshore Marina District is a natural expansion of Tampa's waterfront landscape. Turning what used to be industrial and vacant land into a bustling, modern landscape. Adding boat slips, waterfront parks, and new waterfront restaurants is never a bad thing when it's a city surrounded by water.
